Autobiographical / Brag Sheets for Letters of Recommendation Below

As a Senior in High School you want to try to accomplish the following to prepare for college:
Fall of Senior Year
Do your research! Attend fairs, narrow down your college lists
- Create a Common App account and start filling it out
- Organize your deadlines so you don't miss any Early Action deadlines
- Start working on College Essay
- Complete the Autobiographical Form/Parent Brag Sheet (ask your guidance counselor for one)
- Request letters of recommendation from teachers
- Retake the SAT or ACT, Send your SAT scores
- Complete the transcript request form to have your transcripts sent to the colleges you apply to (ask your guidance counselor for one)
- Complete college applications by the deadline (deadlines are typically in January, but check with each school)
Winter into Spring of Senior Year
- Complete FAFSA/other financial aid forms, like CSS Profile
- Apply for scholarships (application will be available in March)
- You will begin to receive notification letters at the beginning of April
- Ask your guidance counselor to complete any necessary Mid-Year or End of Year School Reports
- With help from your parents, teachers, and guidance counselor, decide where you want to go!
- Take any AP exams and send your scores
- Send your Enrollment deposit
