Welcome to the 2026 - 2027 School Year

Good afternoon, Woolie Families,

I hope your summer is off to a wonderful start and that you are finding time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family and friends.

Although the school year has just ended, we are already looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year at MHS. Throughout the summer, our staff will be busy planning, preparing, and collaborating to ensure we are ready to welcome students back for another great year.

At the Junior-Senior High School, our goal is to create a school community where every student feels seen, valued, heard, and supported. We know that students thrive when they feel connected, which is why we continue to offer a wide range of opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Whether through academics, athletics, clubs, performing arts, community service, or leadership experiences, we want every student to find ways to get involved, discover their interests, and build meaningful connections.

In our classrooms, we remain committed to providing engaging learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, explore new ideas, and grow as learners. At the same time, we recognize that education extends beyond academics. The relationships students build, the experiences they have, and the lessons they learn along the way all contribute to their growth as individuals.

Everything we do is guided by our core values of Academic Curiosity and Growth, Citizenship, Independent Lifelong Learning, Respect, and Responsibility. These values, along with the strong tradition of Woolie Pride, help shape our culture and serve as the foundation for the work we do each day.

We are grateful for the partnership we share with our families. Strong communication between home and school plays an important role in supporting student success, and we encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or good news to share.

We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to welcoming students back this fall for another year of learning, growth, and memorable experiences.

Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Sincerely,
Chris Lowe

"Once a Woolie, Always a Woolie."

Celebrating the Class of 2026

Each year, one of my favorite traditions is sharing a photo of our graduating class. While it captures a single moment in time, it represents years of learning, growth, perseverance, and achievement.

When I look at this image, I see much more than a group of graduates. I see students who have worked hard to reach an important milestone, families who have supported them every step of the way, and educators who have dedicated themselves to helping students succeed. It is a reminder that graduation is not just an individual accomplishment but the result of a community coming together to support young people as they pursue their goals.

As an educator, moments like this reinforce why we do this work. They inspire us to continue creating the opportunities, supports, and experiences that help every student grow, thrive, and ultimately walk across the graduation stage with pride.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026 on this incredible achievement. Thank you to the families, staff, and community members who helped make this milestone possible. We are proud of all that our graduates have accomplished and excited to see where their journeys take them next.

Once a Woolie, always a Woolie!

Welcome, Class of 2032!

Welcome to Our Newest Woolies, The Class of 2032!

A special welcome to the Class of 2032 as you prepare to begin your journey at Millbury Memorial Junior-Senior High School. We are excited to welcome you into the Woolie community and look forward to helping you make a successful transition to grades 7–12.

The move to a new school brings new opportunities, experiences, and connections. Over the coming years, you will have the chance to explore new interests, discover your passions, build lasting friendships, and challenge yourself in ways that will help you grow both inside and outside the classroom.

As you begin this next chapter, know that you will be supported by a caring and dedicated team of teachers, counselors, administrators, and staff who are committed to helping you succeed. We encourage you to get involved, ask questions, try new things, and make the most of all that MMJSHS has to offer.

We are excited to meet the newest generation of Woolies and can't wait to see the impact you will have on our school community.

From the School Counseling Dept.

Hello from the School Counseling Department,

We hope you have been enjoying your summer! For our newest students and families, students will meet 6 periods a day, and 1 class is dropped. If your child is a current student of Millbury Memorial Jr./Sr. In high school, they should be able to use their Aspen login to access their schedule. If your child is new to MMJSHS (including 7th-grade students), please request a Parent login through Matt Wright in the IT office through email at mwright@millburyschools.org. Students will be able to sign into their Aspen accounts using their Google email accounts through the ‘Students and Staff’ button.

The Counseling Office officially reopens August 24, 2026. Per usual, we will not be making appointments on Monday, the 24th, as it is our first day back and we have pre-scheduled meetings for the duration of the day. Starting on August 25th, schedule changes can be made by appointment only. We will be prioritizing any student who has an empty spot in their schedule, as well as students who are new to the district. Please do not come to the school without an appointment, as our space and availability will be extremely limited.

Otherwise, the add/drop period will last for 10 school days (until Sept. 16) at the beginning of the school year, with the exception of a change of level (CP, H). If students wish to change their schedule, they should come to guidance during the block they wish to change. This mostly applies to elective offerings, as core classes are not often switched.

Please see the chart below to see who your student’s counselor is for the school year.

The direct line to the SC Department is (508) 865-5843. Counselor email addresses are:

Maryellen Courtney mcourtney@millburyschools.org
Stephanie DeLucia - sdelucia@millburyschools.org

We will work to return calls and emails as efficiently as possible. As always, thank you so much for your understanding. We can’t wait to see you! - The Counseling Dept.
